BRATTLEBORO — Recent government changes in how hospitals can buy and bill for medications are blamed for lost revenue and higher expenses at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital.
Hospital officials said the changes resulted in an approximately $5 million impact on BMH's bottom line.
BMH resubmitted its fiscal year 2026 budget to the Green Mountain Care Board this week.
