BRATTLEBORO — Nurses at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital plan to begin a strike vote this week.
Hospital management continues to propose cuts that nurses believe would "undermine patient care and drive experienced staff away," states an announcement issued by the Brattleboro Federation of Nurses on Thursday. The federation said "nurses remain committed to reaching a fair agreement" and urge "hospital leadership to return to the bargaining table with proposals that invest in staff and the long-term health of the hospital and community."
