BRATTLEBORO — Education reforms put forth by Gov. Phil Scott's administration are being eyed skeptically in the local community.
"We need a pause here and some wiggle room to figure out the answers without this overbearing sense of 2026 and 2027," Windham Southeast School District Board Chairwoman Deborah Stanford said at a special meeting hosted Monday night at Brattleboro Union High School by the WSESD and Windham Southeast Supervisory Union boards, referring to a proposed timeline for implementation.
