BRATTLEBORO — Local residents opposed to the war on Yemen called for holding politicians accountable for the United States’ role.

“So today marks the beginning of the eighth year of the war on Yemen and that’s why we thought it was important to show up, because a lot of people in Vermont and around the country and around the world think that we shouldn’t have an eighth year of this war,” Isaac Evans-Frantz of Brattleboro said at a rally Sunday at Pliny Park in downtown Brattleboro.
