BRATTLEBORO — The Select Board formally adopted the town's encampment policy as is, after the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Vermont proposed alternative ideas that included allowing camping on certain town-owned land if rules are followed. 

Jessica Radbord, senior staff attorney at the ACLU of Vermont, presented what she called "a menu of options" to the Select Board on Tuesday.
