TOWNSHEND — A proposal to close elementary schools in Jamaica and Townshend and consolidate with NewBrook Elementary is prompting many questions and concerns.
"I've been really blown away by the civility of you and the board," Windham Central Superintendent Bob Thibault said Wednesday at Townshend Elementary School toward the end of the first community forum on the plan.
