BROOKLINE — Samantha Bovat is giving new teachers some moral support.
"Teaching can be so isolating but it doesn't have to be that way," she said in an interview.
Bovat recently published "Mrs. Bovat's Survival Guide for New Teachers," which is available on Amazon. Her sister, Elizabeth Doran, who teaches high school science in Arizona, edited the book.
Bovat, who lives in Brookline, said she thinks she "started" writing the book the day she began teaching.
