High school students from around Windham County participated in the second annual Reality Fair at Leland & Gray Union Middle High School in Townshend that was hosted by the BDCC on Oct. 19, 2023.
TOWNSHEND — Area residents shared their thoughts and fears with the Vermont School Redistricting Task Force, as it prepares a map to recommend to the Legislature.
Rich Werner of Dover, chairman of the River Valleys Unified Union School District, called Vermont "a unique place."
"You guys don't have an easy job," he told the task force.
He cited transportation in rural and hilly areas as a major issue to consider.
