BRATTLEBORO — An approximately $25 million budget is ready to go to Representative Town Meeting for approval. 

Town Manager John Potter said the spending plan approved unanimously Tuesday by the Select Board includes a 12 percent increase in taxes over last fiscal year. A 22 percent increase had initially been projected, then tweaks were made to bring costs down.
