NEW YORK, N.Y. — Travis Elliott ran his fourth consecutive New York City Marathon on Nov. 3, 2024 to raise money for Parkinson’s research. The New York City Marathon is the largest marathon in the world and runners complete 26.2 miles through all five boroughs.
Elliott chose to run for Parkinson’s Champions and the Parkinson’s Foundation in honor of his dad, Randy Knaggs, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s over 10 years ago.
