Several firefighters from Brattleboro and Keene, N.H., participated in a two-week hazmat training at Brattleboro's Central Station on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026. The training was paid by a grant from the International Association of Fire Fighters. The training helped with giving the firefighters experience through different scenarios in handling leaks from small tanks to large ones that could be found on the rail lines.
