BRATTLEBORO — A man with Nazi tattoos accused of threatening to kill someone and using hate speech is no longer required to be in the custody of the Vermont Department of Mental Health.
Brandon Bane, 40, of Brattleboro, had been put under an order of nonhospitalization (ONH), which places an individual in the custody of the department and requires them to abide by certain conditions or they may face the possibility of hospitalization or re-hospitalization, with the goal of providing structure for treatment engagement.
