Crews mill the top layer of roadway off Bridge 31 over the Deerfield River in Wilmington on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, making repairs to the bridge after reports that a part collapsed.
WILMINGTON — Bridge 31 in the downtown village is planned to be replaced in 2029.
Jamie Roy, project manager, and Nina Truslow, project engineer, both from VHB, presented plans at the Wilmington Select Board meeting on Tuesday. Multiple repairs have been made to the state-owned bridge in the last year or so, Roy said.
