In 1789, Ben Franklin quipped "In this world, nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes;" it’s time we added a third certainty – fraud. While tax fraud scams can take many forms, the most frequent approach is a phishing attack. The criminals prefer to use email (phishing), text message (smishing), and telephone calls to set the bait.
