BRATTLEBORO — Representative Town Meeting members are getting ready for a special meeting to vote on overturning the acceptable community conduct ordinance.
Select Board Chairman Daniel Quipp said the body will have an opportunity Thursday to "debate and decide the fate of this ordinance." At a forum last week, he explained how it establishes boundaries for conduct and allows an authorized representative of the town to issue a ticket or no-trespass order to an individual believed to be engaged in "harmful, dangerous, illegal or unreasonably disruptive" behavior.
