BRATTLEBORO — Friends staying in the Econo Lodge on Canal Street tried to help Larry Jones pack up and find his next place to live.
On Tuesday morning, Jones said he has to get out of the motel because he's no longer eligible for the emergency housing program.
"I'm doing my best to clean up and get out," he said.
Asked what his plan is, he said, "I don't have one."
