BRATTLEBORO — Bill Fleming, a Brattleboro native, had a flair for storytelling and making art.

Joshua Farr, executive director at Vermont Center for Photography, described Fleming in a social media post about his recent death as "a regular presence everywhere from Main Street to community events."

"If you ever talked cameras with him, you know he had an endless supply of stories and a real passion for photography, always eager to share what he knew," Farr said in the post on Sunday.
