MANCHESTER — Brattleboro’s defense set the tone early in Tuesday’s Southern Vermont League matchup, as the Bears held Burr and Burton to just one field goal in the first quarter. Brattleboro took care of business on the other end of the court, jumping out to a 13-7 lead through eight minutes of play and never looked back, pulling away from the Bulldogs for a 59-42 victory.
