On March 15, 2025, people ski and snowboard down the slopes at Stratton Mountain during the annual 24 Hours of Stratton to raise funds for the Stratton Foundation.
STRATTON — About $15 million in capital expenditures were made at Stratton Mountain ahead of the winter ski season.
Nearly $3 million went towards snowmaking, according to an announcement. About 265 brand new, high-efficiency HKD snow guns were purchased and can be seen on trails including Upper Tamarack, Upper Standard, Upper Kidderbrook and Big Ben.
