MONTPELIER — A new bill championed by Treasurer Mike Pieciak is aimed at lowering prescription drug costs and improving access to health care.
At a news conference on Thursday, he called the legislation "an important step" but not the last one in making Vermont more affordable.
"This proposal comes at a very urgent moment," he said.
