BRATTLEBORO — Bob Johnson, local physicist, entrepreneur and inventor, will be remembered for his innovation and community contributions.
Johnson died Sunday night at the age of 80. He founded Omega Optical in 1969 and later Delta Vermont, both in Brattleboro, and helped launch a number of other entities.
His son Robin Johnson, who owns The Stone Church music venue in the former Unitarian Church on Main Street, told the Reformer the family would be working on an obituary soon.
