MONTPELIER — With a major shakeup in the Legislature after the election, Gov. Phil Scott is preparing for a different kind of legislative session.
"The change in the Legislature brings more balance and eliminated the supermajority that was used to not only override the governor’s vetoes, but ignore his and the administration’s objections entirely because of their ability to override," Rebecca Kelley, communications director for the governor, said Thursday in an email response to the Reformer.
