BRATTLEBORO — The Vermont Basketball Coaches’ Association (VBCA) recently announced its 2026 awards, while the boys hockey all-league teams were revealed, with local representation in both sports.

Brattleboro’s Myah Waite was listed as one of seven recipients for VBCA scholarships. Additionally, Waite’s teammate Reese Croutworst was recognized for being one of six players on the girls side to hit 1,000 points this season, doing so in a 39-35 win at Burr & Burton on Jan.
